The Nikkei is down 164 points today in trading in Japan.
The Dow ended up 42 points by the close of trading Friday.
And the Nasdaq added 13.

Technology companies saw big gains Friday after chip maker, intel reported business demand for computers, had picked up.

Fatigue on the job is still a major problem for  air traffic controllers.
A new report says air traffic controllers are still working schedules where they may get little or no sleep before working overnight shifts.

The Better Business Bureau says be wary of a secret shopper scam.
Recently scammers have taken to Craiglist and other websites posting a job for "The Home Depot Survey."
Alleged managers send a packet of information and a fake check for $300.
A note in the packet instructs the "secret shopper" to deposit the check and wire money back.
