If you're keeping on top of the stock markets this morning,  Friday, February 14, 2014....

The Nikkei is down 222 points today in Tokyo.
On Wall Street, the Dow closed up 64 points Thursday.
And the Nasdaq gained 39.

Mortgage rates are slighty higher.
Freddie Mac says the rate on a 30 year fixed mortgage is now 4.28 percent. A fifteen year loan is at 3.33.

Pilots at American Eagle Airlines are rejecting a new contract offer.
The regional affiliate of American Airlines wants the pilots union to take a pay cut so the company can buy new and larger planes.
American has been trying to sell off the Eagle division for years.

Facebook is changing the way you identify your gender.
The social media giant is adding about 50 different terms people can use to describe themselves like, androgynous, bi-gender, intersex, gender fluid and transsexual.
Facebook will also allow you to keep your gender identity private.

Anyone who uses GMail will want to listen up!
A new Google Chrome extension called Streak,  lets users know when a message has been read -- and on which devices.
