A retirement party for Anderson was held last week. He'll start his new job at Cox July 7.
Steve Edwards, president and CEO of CoxHealth, issued a statement Monday that read, in part, “Jim’s direct impact on job creation in the region and his philosophy that economic development is community development mirrors the spirit of giving and community focus at CoxHealth."
Anderson served for 26 years with the Springfield Chamber. In his new position, he will oversee marketing, corporate communications, public affairs and advocacy at CoxHealth.
