The Dearborn family is celebrating this Father's Day in the Mercy Hospital NICU.
The meaning of Father's Day changed this year for Cameron Dearborn.
"Instead of celebrating Father's Day as a son with his dad, I'm also a dad with a son," he said.
He and his wife, Letha, will celebrate with their son, Gavin, who was born eight weeks premature.
"Whole different perspective to it especially since I never thought I was going to get to be a dad," he said.
They call Gavin a miracle baby.
They have been married for 15 years and until now have not been able to have a child.
"I always wanted to be a mom but, I always wanted him to be a dad," New Mother Letha Dearborn said, "Just though it was never going to happen and then it happened."
"I'm happy, excited, overjoyed, I'm just glad he's doing ok, that's the most important thing to me," Cameron Dearborn said.
Cameron said the best present he could have on this Father's Day is watching his wife hold their newborn.
"It's like going to a museum and looking at beautiful pictures and beautiful sculptures to see her hold him," he said.
And Letha Dearborn said she just feels relieved that their baby is here and that he's healthy.
"I couldn't give him any better present than this sweet little guy," she said.
Although she she's afraid she won't ever be able to top this Father's Day gift for her husband.
"I thought, I can't beat that! Next year what am I going to do?" she said.
Gavin Dearborn will most likely spend a few more weeks in the Mercy Hospital NICU until he's big enough to head home with mom and dad.
