CAMDENTON, Mo. – A man from Camden County has been sentenced to three 15-year sentences on charges of statutory sodomy involving children under 14.
Online court records show the three sentences levied against Robert R. Taylor are to be served concurrently.
Taylor, 41, of Eldon was originally charged with 13 counts of statutory sodomy, but 10 were dismissed.
The Camden County Sheriff's Department says it began the investigation into allegations of child abuse involving several of Taylor's family members in February 2015, after being contacted by the Department of Social Services Children’s Division.
Children's Division investigators told deputies the allegations of abuse occurred over several years, with some of the victims saying Taylor had abused them as early as six years old.
All of the charges involve children under the age of 14.
