SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Springfield School Board has set two meeting times for the public with the next superintendent prospect.

The Springfield School Board has hopes of hiring the new superintendent prospect, John Junmann, the current superintendent of the Liberty School District in North Kansas City and the former superintendent of the Monett School District.

There will be two different meeting times in Springfield for the public to meet Jungmann, one at 12 pm at The Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway and the other at 5:45 pm at the library of Parkview High School, 516 W. Meadowmere St.

Jungmann will also have meetings with district employees and community leaders and if all goes well the school board intends to hire Jungmann.

Jungmann would replace Norm Ridder, the current--nine year-- superintendent who is retiring in June.
