SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Summer of Science continues at the Discovery Center.

Students had fun Monday because of the classes the center offers. It takes place every day through August.

Monday, some students were even learning advance subjects.

"Today you saw some middle schoolers doing video game programming,” says Charlotte McCoy, with the Discovery Center. “So they are taking a video program and actually learning how to make their own game where they can shoot something or make it have a different costume. It's way above my head, but a lot of fun. The kids are enjoying it."

McCoy also says classes are still available and parents can register their kids at the Discovery Center's website.
