Huntsville, Ar. School District Asks for Snow Day

HUNTSVILLE, Ar.-- One Arkansas school district to asking to waive half of their snow make-up days.

After 22 of missed snow days this winter, the Huntsville school district is asking the state if it can cut those make-up days in half.

According to the district, Huntsville has applied for a waiver that would allow for them to eliminate 11 days from the make-up school calendar.

Students will be in class today Sat. Mar. 8 in Huntsville as one of their scheduled make-up days.
