After 22 of missed snow days this winter, the Huntsville school district is asking the state if it can cut those make-up days in half.
According to the district, Huntsville has applied for a waiver that would allow for them to eliminate 11 days from the make-up school calendar.
Students will be in class today Sat. Mar. 8 in Huntsville as one of their scheduled make-up days.
