SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- Some gifted students explored what it would be like to be an astronaut.

Drury University is conducting a summer camp all week.  Tuesday, kids ages pre-k through 5th grade learned about the moon, solar system, black holes, as well as the future of NASA's space exploration programs.
Older students will attend camp in July.

Drury partners with Springfield Public Schools to allow more than 700 students to attend the gifted summer camp.
