SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- As part of the 60th anniversary of the Brown vs. The Board of Education court case, the Brown sisters will speak in Springfield tonight.

This historic court case challenged racial segregation in Topeka, Kansas schools....and ultimately led to the Supreme Court ruling segregation in public schools unconstitutional.

The Brown family also has ties to the Ozarks.  Linda Brown-Thompson graduated from Springfield's Central High School.

Tonight's program starts at 7 in the Central High school auditorium. It's free and open to the public.
