Dogs Have Their Day At Bark in the Park

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--The 25th Annual Bark in the Park dog festival takes place June 14 at the Nathanael Greene-Close Memorial Park.

Dogs and their owners are invited to the 25th Annual Bark in the Park dog festival June 14 from 8am until 12 pm on the Great Lawn at Nathanael Greene-Close Memorial Park.

The event includes a guided dog walk around Lake Drummond, a canine CPR demonstration, a talent show for dogs and their families, as well as hands-on kids' activities.

Admission is $10 per dog. All proceeds benefit Cruse Dog Park, Springfield's first off-leash dog park, operated by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board.
