Community Works to Find Missing Teen

WILLARD, Mo. -- People in the Greene County town of Willard have come together to search for a missing teen.

Roger Partridge Jr., 14, went missing about 3:00 p.m. Thursday.  His mother, Brandy Maddux, says she believes Roger is wearing jeans and riding his mountain bike.

Hundreds of people spent hours Thursday, into early Friday morning, searching for him.  Further searches are being organized on the Willard community Facebook page.

Willard Mayor Corey Hendrickson was among those searching Thursday night.  He told KOLR10 News Willard is a tight-knit community and people in the town are concerned, especially with more thunderstorms expected to come through the area later today.

Police in Willard are searching along the Frisco Highline Trail, says Corporal Steve Purdy.   Some of Partridge's friends have told officers he may be headed to Bolivar or Springfield along the trail.

If you have seen Roger Partridge, call Willard police at 742-3077.
