Body Found in Osage River on March 21 Identified

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mo. - The individual who was found on March 21 in the Osage River has been identified. 

According to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, Onie Franklin Chambers, 61, was found on Tuesday afternoon. Chambers last know whereabouts were in the Kansas City area around February 9, 2018.

According to the medical examiner, the cause of death is still unknown at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mo. -- The Missouri Water Patrol is investigating the death of a person whose body was found in the upper arm of the Osage River Wednesday (March 21).

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department says a fisherman spotted the body near Taberville, Missouri.

Deputies launched a boat and met up with the fisherman who stayed with the body.   There was no identification on the body.
