ROGERS, Ark. -- Firefighters have come from near and far to be a part of this year's Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society, or FOOLS, convention in Rogers.

130 firefighters from 18 states are here in Northwest Arkansas to get training and enjoy each other's company. The convention is held each year in different cities all over the nation but this is the first time it's been in Northwest Arkansas.

"We put on a presentation, basically, to sell Northwest Arkansas to the rest of the country's firefighters," says Brandon Earley, convention coordinator. "We've got great training opportunities here in Northwest Arkansas."

The convention will have several training sessions and brotherhood events throughout the week. The convention will wrap up on Friday.
