Arkansas Fire Stations Targeted by Arsonist

ZINK, Ark. -- Boone County authorities are investigating fires at two unlikely places, that are the apparent work of an arsonist.

Two buildings used a fire stations for the Zink, Arkansas Volunteer Fire Department both had fires on the roof Sunday.  The Boone County Sheriff's office says both fires have been ruled arson.

Firefighters were able to get their equipment out of the buildings, but both buildings lost their roofs.

The Boone County Rural Fire Association is offering a $500.00 reward for information about the person responsible for the fire.  Call the Boone County Sheriff's Office at 870-741-8404 if you have information.
