According to the Greene County Sheriff's Office, three people are now charged in connection with the shooting in the 300 block of E. Buena Vista in Springfield Wednesday afternoon.
Through the investigation, deputies say they were able to identify at least three subjects, including two males and one female, who had knowledge of the incident and located them at a residencee near the 2500 block of S. Jefferson in Springfeild. After detectives searched the residence, they seized several firearms.
The following have been charged by the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office:
Willis A. Prince, 21, of Springfield
Austin J. Seaver, 19, of Springfield
Stephanie M. Sisco, 19, of Springfield
Each has been charged with felony first-degree accessory robbery, accessory of armed criminal action and second-degree accessory to assault. They are in the Greene County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Deputies say the 17-year-old remains in the hospital recovering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
According to the Greene County Sheriff's Office, preliminary information indicates the incident was an isolated event where all the people involved were familiar with one another.
GREENE COUNTY, Mo. -- Deputies are investigating an apparent shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon just south of Springfield.
It happened in the 4500 block of S. Roanoke Avenue. According to deputies, someone called 911, and reported a shooting.
When deputies arrived, there was no one at the scene, but a short time later, a victim showed up at one of the hospitals.
The extent of that person's injuries are not known. The Greene County Sheriff's Office is expected to release more information later.
