As entertainment moves out of the traditional movie and television models, and more into the all-access style model, we’re going to see the rise of TV Studios 2.0. One result is that companies and corporations that have only offered services or goods are realizing that they, too, can produce quality entertainment. With mobile platforms and streaming services becoming much more robust and efficient, and Netflix proving that original content is a viable business model (and even popular) our vernacular may shift from “what’s buzzworthy” to “what’s bingeworthy?”
