SWEDEBORG, Mo. -- Investigators in Pulaski County, Missouri say they have arrested five people suspected of taking part in a robbery last Friday, that left an 82-man severely beaten.

Sheriff Ron Long says the five were taken into custody following an extensive manhunt.  The last of the five was arrested Tuesday morning, Long said.

Property stolen in the robbery has been found, Long said, along with guns used in other crimes in Pulaski and Miller counties.

The case came to light last Friday, when deputies found the victim's vehicle abandoned near the Gasconade River.

When deputies when to the man's home on Highway T near Swedeborg, they found him on the floor with severe injuries.

The victim was flown to a trauma center where he remains in critical condition.

Long says a news conference is being planned to discuss more details.  Formal charges against the five are pending.
