4.2 Magnitude Quake Shakes Central Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, Mo. --  A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck near Guthrie, Oklahoma, at 7:41 a.m. central time Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter was 4 miles southwest of Guthrie, Oklahoma, 11 miles north of Edmond, and 24 miles north of Oklahoma City.

It was about two miles deep, the USGS said.

Oklahoma City CBS affiliate KWTV reports many people in the area reported feeling the quake.  But no injuries or major damage had been reported.
