According to a news release from the United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, Noe Moreno-Malagon, 36, a citizen of Mexico residing in Ozark, Mo., was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison without parole, which must be served consecutively to his prison sentence in an unrelated state case.
Moreno-Malagon must also forfeit to the government $32,000 and four firearms that were seized by law enforcement officers.
Rita J. Vera, 35, of Monett, Mo., was sentenced to five years in federal prison without parole.
Paul E. Allen, 58, of Purdy, Mo., was sentenced to seven years in federal prison without parole.
Prosecutors said Moreno-Malagon led a methamphetamine distribution group in the Springfield that also covered Polk, Christian and Taney Counties, and that he supplied Vera and Allen with methamphetamine.
