The race, held Thanksgiving morning in downtown Springfield, is $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and younger for the early bird deals. There is a $3.25 service fee for each online registration.
If you would like to turn in your form in person, you may do so at the Springfield-Greene County Park Board Administration Office at 1923 N. Weller Ave or at Killian Sports Complex, 2141 E. Pythian St. in Springfield.
Early bird registration closes today, Friday, Nov. 22 at 5 p.m. However, registration remains closed until the daybefore the race.
On-site registration opens Wednesday, Nov. 27, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. St. Louis St., in downtown Springfield.
On-site registration continues 6:15-7 a.m. on race day. On-site registration is $25 for adults and $20 for children.

Turkey Trot is Springfield’s largest timed 5K race of the year and the largest Thanksgiving Day 5K in Missouri, attracting 9,007 participants in 2012.
The event takes place at 8 a.m. in downtown Springfield and the MSU campus, and is held rain, snow or shine.
Proceeds benefit the Developmental Center of the Ozarks and Springfield-Greene County Park Board’s Scholarship Fund. The event also serves as a food drive for Ozarks Food Harvest.
