The show will feature a parade of clothing worn by models plus an exhibit of vintage gowns, several of which were created by show narrator and fashion designer Nancy Farris-Thee.
According to a news statement, Farris-Thee owned a couture wedding design business in her native California. She will be assisted at the Vintage Fashion Show by Sara Gonzales, a designer and owner of her own business, Ensembles of the Past.
Each ticket costs $35 and includes a light meal and the chance to win a vintage-inspired door prize.
Tickets may be purchased at Vintage Suitcase & Tea Room at 724 S. Scenic Ave., Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center at 2400 S. Scenic Ave, and Michelle’s Place at 101 E. Donna St. in Nixa.
Tickets may also be requested online on the Gray-Campbell Farmstead Facebook page and online at the Gray-Campbell Farmstead website.
The event is a fundraiser to benefit the interior restoration of the Liberty School at the Gray-Campbell Farmstead in Nathanael Green/Close Memorial Park. According to the Gray-Campbell Farmstead Facebook page, if a minimum of 50 tickets are not sold, the event may be cancelled.
