SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- St. Patrick's Day is Monday but there are a number of events happening this weekend in Springfield.

Rusty Worley with the Urban Districts Alliance says Saturday is a full day of everything Irish.

"We start with a 5K and 15K run in Park Central East. We have the parade that'll start at noon with activities and then it kicks off at Commercial Street at 2.  And then a block party on the square from noon to 7, and then the pub crawl that night. So from dawn to dusk with have great things happening downtown"
