The annual event, which showcases the artistic work of dozens of local and national artists, is Saturday and Sunday along historic Walnut Street west of National Avenue.
Organizers say 130 artists from 18 states have booths this year. 45 new artists are signed up. Artsfest attracts thousands of people who can sample food, watch live dancing, listen to local musicians and shop for objects of art.
Tickets are $3 in advance at area McDonald's restaurants beginning April 21st. Tickets are $5 at the gate. Children 5 and under are free.
