Hollywood is taking some time to remember Maya Angelou.  The activist, singer, Grammy winner and writer - best known for her poetry - died Wednesday at 86.

"....When it looked like the sun was not shining anymore...."
Oprah posted this picture on Instagram, mourning the loss of her mentor, Maya Angelou.
She writes: "I loved her and I know she loved me. I will profoundly miss her."
Country music group Rascal Flatts posted a photo...Thanking Angelou for changing so many lives.
And Maria Shriver tweeted: "God Bless @drmayaangelou. A woman who used her voice to raise up, inspire and educate."
Many other celebrities took to Twitter remembering Maya Angelou and her inspiring words.

Nia Vardalos will make movie-goers happy.
She confirmed on Twitter there will be a sequel to "My Big Fat Greek Wedding".
The original film centered on a greek woman falling in love with a non-greek school-teacher and her family's reaction.
Vardalos wrote and starred in the first film, which reportedly had a budget of only $5 million.
The film ended up grossing $241 million domestically.

After eight seasons, E! Is booting Chelsea Handler off the network officially.
E! announced Wednesday handler will have a month-long celebration of special episodes and surprise guests leading up to her final show.
But it seems there is no love lost.
Handler told Howard Stern in March that E! didn't "know what they were doing" and "it just is a failure."
The final episode of "Chelsea Lately" airs live on August 26th.
