SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Patriotic voices filled the halls of the old Greene County Courthouse Thursday.

The Courthouse Chorale entertained a crowd of onlookers in the courthouse rotunda Thursday morning.

The chorale is comprised of county employees.

They get together twice a year to offer this concert; once during the holidays and this time of the year as we get close to the 4th of July.

"It's just a great stress reliever,” says County Administrator Tim Smith. “We just get together. They are all good singers. We don't have to rehearse hard. We went through these songs a couple of times and it just sounds so good in here. It’s just fun.“

The County also allows other choral groups to perform at various times in the rotunda.
