Making plans to see a movie this weekend?  Check this out first!  Our friend Chris the Critic from the Missouri Film Alliance is back in for our Thursday look at new releases in theaters this weekend.

CAPTAIN AMERICA:  THE WINTER SOLDIER - Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history, the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.  GREAT cast with Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford and so many more.

NOAH beat DIVERGENT!  And, GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL debuted at #6, this Wes Anderson film is so very clever and original.

ANCHORMAN 2:  THE LEGEND CONTINUES - Well, Ron Burgundy is back, this time trying to tackle a 24 hour news channel.  Quite unfortunately even with this cast of so many that I love, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Christina Applegate, along with a slew of great cameos … this is a wretched sequel.

SATO 48 Is upon us!  This is the annual local 48 hour film challenge that is so much fun!  Kick off is April 11th, filming on April 12th & 13th, screenings at The Moxie April 25th thru 27th and the awards show at The Gillioz on May 8th.  I love being a judge and seeing all the local talent! and of course, on Facebook!
AND "Like" the Chris The Critic Facebook page for lots of fun!
