I am thrilled to be back home in the Ozarks doing what I love: broadcast journalism.
I was born and raised in Monett and graduated from Drury University. From there, my career in journalism grew. I began as a radio anchor/reporter in Springfield chasing storms throughout southwest Missouri.
I took my radio mic onto Kansas City, Mo. and served as morning anchor for WDAF-AM.
I most recently worked for WTMJ-NBC Milwaukee, WI. I spent an incredible 12 years there as anchor/reporter and served as an investigative criminal reporter. I also hosted a bi-weekly show "Avante" that spotlighted successes in the community.
A visit home to family in 2010 brought me home permanently. I met my husband and we were married last October.
I look forward to finding the stories that matter most to my extended family, you, here in southwest Missouri. I look for stories that truly impact the lives of those our community and strive to find information that leaves viewers feeling they have full story. You can see my Hometown Hero reports here.
You can reach me by email if you have a story to tell. Also, you can "like" my Facebook page or follow me on Twitter!
I look forward to hearing from you and any story ideas you may have. I also want to thank you for inviting us into your homes and making us your choice for news.
